Nativity is a full-body collision with the enduring power of the myth and magic of the Virgin Mary. Pregnant Dance Artist Rachel Dean uses movement, song and things that sparkle to create an irreverent and at times surprisingly devotional solo performance. Initially a live performance, now also a dance film by Lucy Barker.
Performed at: Theatre in the Mill Bradford, Seven Arts and Riley Theatre at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance Leeds and St Marys Stockport.
